Remind Me Who I Am

The following is a text message I received from a Christian friend and my response. I believe there are others who sometimes feel the same way. My hope in posting this is that perhaps my response will resonate with, and minister to someone else who needs a little encouragement on the journey to their destiny.

Here- this is for you:

You are a beloved blood bought chosen and adopted child of the most high God, a friend of Jesus and a friend of many.

You bring glory to God as you use your talents, which are many, for Him. But He loves you just for you- not for what you can do.

You are an encourager, an inspiration to others, you help them find their gifts, themselves in Christ.

What are you doing here? What’s the use?

You are just passing through, this is just the road to where we are going. Heaven is our home and Jesus is our prize.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren, but we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Sometimes the road is rutted and foggy, and yes, we just have to hold on and carry on, knowing He will never leave or forsake us. He will see us through.

He made you for Himself, because He wanted you, and wants you to know Him and make Him known.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written,The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. Psalms 139:16 (NKJV)

Thank you for the hundreds of  times you have encouraged and inspired me. You are loved.
