#IfMyPeople ~ Battle for the Soul of a Nation

Four hundred years after pilgrim and American forefather Edward Winslow settled in Plymouth, Massachusetts, his descendant returns to lead the charge to battle for the soul of our nation.

Pastor Greg and Suzanne Winslow, former missionaries to Mexico, church planters, and founders of If My People New England and Hidden Manna Ministries from NH share about their upcoming adventure and the part you can play. They also cover the state of the Church and America, how to navigate these turbulent times, the power of prayer, and more in this video interview. (Welcome back, Pastor Greg and Suzanne.) 🙂

As Providence would have it, the only location available to Pastor Greg Winslow for the upcoming five-day American Pilgrimage event in October was at the National Monument to the Forefathers in Plymouth, Massachussettes. A towering 81 feet and 180 tons of free-standing solid granite, this beacon of freedom beckons all to remember the foundational Biblical principles on which our nation was established.

Dedicated in 1889, The National Monument to the Forefathers bears the inscription, “Erected by a grateful people in remembrance of their labors, sacrifices and sufferings for the cause of Civil and Religious Liberty.”

Faith stands tall and central, her left hand holds an open Bible by her side while her right points heavenward. Morality, Law, Education and Liberty sit beneath her, each flanked by yet more virtues.

From this vantage point on Saturday October 2nd, 2021 at 12 noon, Pastor Greg Winslow of If My People New England prayer ministry summons Christians to gather and heed God’s call to humble ourselves, pray, seek, and receive His promise to heal our land. This is a call to the Church for repentance.

It is easy to say what a mess our country or world is in, but the responsibility of moving God’s heart on our behalf rests squarely on the shoulders of the Christian.

But to pray effectively for our nation, we must first search and get our hearts right with God.

The five-day American Pilgrimage event will honor the quadricentennial anniversary of the pilgrims’ arrival in Plymouth, MA, and the first Thanksgiving which they celebrated with the Native Americans of the region.

The If My People prayer gathering this October at the National Monument to the Forefathers is open to all. Decendants of the Mayflower and of Native Americans who lived in Plymouth then are among those who plan to attend.

I’m certain they will add a powerful element to this event as they come together and partner in prayer for America.

  1. Thank you for sharing this timely message. My wife and I did visit Plymouth a few years ago when our daughter lived there. What an amazing place in our nation’s history and heritage.
